Movehunt is Estonia’s secure marketplace for move-out and garage sales. It helps sellers declutter safely and buyers discover great deals — all with a smoother, more reliable process than informal platforms.

How is Movehunt different from Facebook Marketplace or groups?

Unlike open marketplaces, Movehunt is built specifically for move-out and garage sales. Every transaction is managed in one place, reducing the risk of scams, no-shows, and endless back-and-forth messages.

Who can use Movehunt?

Anyone in Estonia preparing to move, declutter, or furnish their home can use Movehunt. It’s built for sellers looking for a quick, organized way to sell items and for buyers who want reliable, quality finds.

How do I list an item for sale?

Simply create a listing on Movehunt, add photos, set your price, and choose your availability for pickup. Buyers can then request and confirm purchases directly through the platform.

How do payments work?

Payments are processed securely through Movehunt. Buyers pay online, and sellers receive their payout after the item is picked up. This ensures a trusted exchange with no risky cash handovers.

What should I do if a buyer or seller doesn’t show up?

Because payments are handled within Movehunt, no-shows are minimized. If it happens, sellers are protected — buyers don’t get a refund unless the item is actually collected.

How does Movehunt protect me from scams?

All transactions are tracked through the platform. No external payments, no sharing personal bank details, and no suspicious requests. If someone tries to move outside the platform, that’s a red flag — and we encourage reporting it immediately.

Can I cancel a sale or purchase?

Yes. Buyers can cancel before payment is confirmed, and sellers can withdraw a listing before it’s sold. Once payment is made, both parties are expected to follow through unless there’s an issue with the item.

What kinds of items can I sell on Movehunt?

You can sell furniture, appliances, electronics, decor, books, plants, and more. For safety reasons, prohibited items include hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, and anything illegal to sell in Estonia.

How do pickups work?

When a buyer completes payment, you’ll agree on a pickup time and location through the app. Both parties get confirmation, and sellers receive payment once the pickup is completed.

Do I need to meet buyers in person?

Yes, items are handed over in person at the arranged pickup time. For large items, you can specify “buyer must arrange transport” in your listing.

What should I do if I have a problem with a transaction?
